The work is dedicated to the important task of cardiology concerning diagnostics and treatment of essential hypertension in elderly patients on the basis of revealing of features of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, determination of different 24 hours profile of blood pressure, haemostasis reaction in this category of people against a background of the combination antihypertensive therapy. The diurnal blood pressure dynamics infringements and connection with system of haemostasis are determined. Non-dipper in 24 hours profile gives the possibility of establishment of higher risk of complications as a result of the thesis. Majority of patients marked a moderate hypotension effect of amlodipin. It has an unreliable effect on haemostasis than enalapril. The studied influence of two week's combination therapy of enalapril and amlodipin caused more expressive antihypertensive, active antiplatelet and anticoagulating effect in the group of dipper.
