Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the topic - the investigation of dynamical morphological and functional characteristics of rat kidney remaining after unilateral nephrectomy in terms of chronic alcohol intoxication with antioxidant and immune-modulating treatment. For experimental studies were used kidney 194 outbred three-month rats (males and females) weighing 160-200 g which were divided into the following groups: group 1 - intact animals with two kidneys. Group 2 - rats with one kidney at different stages of observation: 1 day, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months. Group 3 - rats with a single kidney after chronic alcohol intoxication by 40% ethanol, which was administered intragastric as 40% aqueous solution of ethanol in an amount of 0.015 ml of 96% ethanol per 1 g weight at different stages of observation. Group 4 - rats with a single kidney who were intragastrically given concentrate polyphenols "Enoant" in a dose of 0.25 ml per kilogram in terms of same observation terms. Group 5 - rats with a single kidney after complex immunotherapy by drugs "Erbisol" and "Extra Erbisol" which were injected at the rate of 0.03 ml per 1 g of body weight in terms of 1 day or within 22 days after surgery. Group 6 - rats with one kidney remaining after unilateral nephrectomy, after a two-month alcohol intoxication with 40% ethanol, who were staying without correction for 22 days. Group 7 - rats with one kidney, which after a 60-day alcohol abuse was administered antioxidant treatment for 22 days. 8 group - rats with one kidney, which after a 60-day alcohol abuse carried out by intramuscular injection of immunocorrectors. Discovered ultramicroscopic and immunohistochemical features of the dynamics of cellular and non-cellular interstitium induced by alcohol in chronic nephropathy and its low turnover. Using histochemical analysis we determined the role of macrophages of different phenotypes in regulation of regeneration and activation of fibroblasts and myofibroblasts, whose number increased after chronic alcohol intoxication on the background of increasing the number of CD68 + - cells. It was revealed that after complex immunocorrection increases the number of macrophages with M2 phenotype (CD163 +) that stimulate the proliferation of epithelial cells. Proceeding of the thesis reveals the dynamics and reactivity of compensatory processes in a single-left kidney under the influence of 40% ethanol, antioxidants and immunomodulators.
