The thesis is dedicated to the analysis of both theoretical and practical aspects of the issue of primary school teachers self-education competence development in the in-service teachers training system. The main in-service teachers training forms, methods and facilities are regarded. The concepts of "primary school teachers self-education competence" and "intercourse period of in-service teachers training" are specified. The systematization of primary school teachers self-education competence forms and methods in in-service teachers training system are improved. Primary school teachers self-education competence development in the intercourse period of in-service teachers training system got further consideration. The model of primary school teachers self-education competence development in the intercourse period of in-service teachers training is worked out and it is grounded its basic structural components: aim, principles, stages of primary school teachers self-education competence development, condition of its realization, monitoring and expected results (a positive dynamics of passing to the higher level of self-education competence and degree of primary school teachers self-organization demonstration).
