Smoliana N. Integration of professional training and production work in Ukrainian vocational technical schools (1959-1991)

The dissertation research addresses the problem of integration of professional training and production work in Ukrainian vocational technical schools in the years 1959-1991. It expounds the state of knowledge in the area of educational theory with regards to the problem under consideration; it analyzes the essence of fundamental notions of the research and justifies the researcher's division into periods of the main development stages of students' vocational training in vocational technical schools under conditions of its integration with production work (1959-1991). The research analyzes organizational educational conditions of securing the efficiency of integrating professional training and production work with the exposition of its implementation results during the time-span in question. The dissertation brings to light development trends in professional training of students under conditions of vocational technical schools cooperation with key enterprises. The research offers the possibilities of creatively applying the progressive ideas connected with teaching experiences in professional training of skilled workers in vocational technical schools in current market environment.
