Franchuk Y. Peculiarities of social and psychological adaptation of young families of officers-borderguards.

The essence content of social and psychological adaptation of young families of officers-borderguards, parameters of social and psychological adaptation and factors influencing upon the process of this adaptation have been specified. The adaptation difficulties and peculiarities of social and psychological adaptation of young families of officers-borderguards to life conditions at the new place of service have been determined. The technique of assistance of social and psychological adaptation includes organizational, information, social and psychological activities oriented towards maintenance of efficient life activity of young families of officers-borderguards in changed life conditions. The author gives the results of experimental verification of the technique of assistance of social and psychological adaptation namely positive dynamic changes of high level indices of adaptation of those members of young families of officers-borderguards that belonged to the experimental group. The author has worked out practical recommendations to young families of officers-borderguards as subjects of social and psychological adaptation with regards to optimization of their relations with changed environment, choice of behavior patterns in new situation, and solving of daily problems with the purpose of successful adaptation.
