The main object of the research - is TNC activities in higher uncertainty of the global economic system; goal - is a theoretical justification of the strengthening factors of transnational rivalry in the global economic system, the disclosure of key components of rivalry in the international oil and gas business and development of practical recommendations instead of national interests of Ukraine in competitive rivalry with foreign oil and gas companies, methods: historical and logical methods, factor analysis, methods of quantitative and qualitative comparisons, economic and statistical methods; scientific novelty of the research is to establish modern strategies of transnational competition, identifying patterns and characteristics of its manifestation in key global markets and the development of the basis of practical recommendations for strengthening competitive position of Ukrainian companies in the global oil and gas market; research results introduced in the activities of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the learning process by teaching "Global Economy", "International Management". Scope - the activity of state bodies, educational process.
