Akimova O. Philosophic reflection of university idea in modern society

Philosophic research of university idea, reflecting the role of universities in forming of universal intelligence within the institute of education by means of expressing the idea of education and science unity as a productive force, was carried out. The main forms of university idea in modern educational practices are developed. The humanistic orientation of modern university education and provided sociological reflection of current situation and prospects of university education in Ukraine are examined. Based on expert assessments the basic contradictions of domestic university education are underlined. Through the prism of the dialectical study of university nature the philosophical dimensions of the phenomenon "academic impact" as a form of university idea realization were determined. The decisive role of the university in the scientific management and sustainable development of society was proved.
