Essay

The dissertation research defines complex treatment of scientific accompaniment of sugar-beet production in the second half of the XIXth – at the beginning of the XXth century, in generalization of scientific – practical achievements of research institutions in agricultural societies, their main task was development of recommendations for improvement of agrotechnical methods of sugar-beet growing. It considers the history of origin, becoming of agricultural research institutions, which were engaged in scientific – practical ground of agrotechnical measures in beet growing. Economic, social and political factors of development of research affair in beet growing in the second half of the XIXth – at the beginning of the XXth century.
