This research reveals the international tourism potential of the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The experience of national tourism industries reformation in countries with transformation economies is examined. Multifactor regression models of international tourism potential and of the level of its implementation in CEE are formed. A short-term forecast for the international tourism development is represented on the basis of these models.
