Shman S. Cultural Aspects of State Examination of Cultural Values in modern Ukraine

The author highlights the complex problems associated with public examination of cultural values in contemporary Ukraine. Extensive source base allowed to explore a number of issues of theoretical and methodological nature. Particular attention is drawn to the legislative provision of expert analysis, shown on this issue. For the first time in the troubled field of domestic science examines state examination of cultural values in culturological direction. Examination of cultural values are considered as the result of interaction of philosophical, artistic, cultural and economic knowledge. The philosophical aspect of values based on the position of the ability of individuals (interpreters) know, orient, evaluate. Assessment is the means of specific and individual elements of consciousness, realized through peer activities. Analysis of philosophical, art and cultural sources allowed to specify the concept of "cultural values" in the context of cultural studies as an interdisciplinary universal category. The expediency of the use of epistemologically-axiological approach to the examination of objects of cultural value.
