In the thesis the autor clarifies the features of professional training for art and culture specialists, provides the results of theoretical and methodological analysis of the main approaches to understanding the "preparedness for professional activity", content and structure of preparedness for professional activity of future art and culture specialists. Organizational and pedagogical model of forming of preparedness for professional activity of art and culture specialists is determined, experimentally proved and tested; the following pedagogical conditions are included: strengthening of humanistic orientation of future art and culture specialists.
