Essay

The dissertation thesis is devoted to а development of technology of surface-active substances (surfactants) synthesized by Rhodococcus erythropolis EK-1 using fried sunflower oil, and to investigation of practical use of surfactants in environmental technologies. The developed technology allows to obtain up to 10 g/dm3 surfactant when cultured R. erythropolis EK-1 on fried oil (2%) with the use of inoculum grown on molasses and introducing 0.1 % glucose into the medium at the beginning of cultivation and 0.1 mM Cu2 + in the exponential growth phase. It was shown that the survival of microorganisms, including pathogenic bacteria, was 3-70% after treatment with surfactant preparations of strain EK-1 compared with the samples without surfactant. Adhesion of bacteria and yeasts' cells on dental materials treated with surfactant preparations was 35-55 % compared to untreated surfaces. The highest degree of destruction of the complex metal oil pollution in water (2.6 g/dm3) and soil (20 cm3/kg) was 75-99 % and was observed after use of postfermentative cultural liquid
