Essay

The thesis is dedicated to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) integrated navigation system efficiency improvement. To achieve this goal the following have been performed: complex data processing method in an integrated inertial satellite navigation system (ISNS) has been improved; method of navigation parameters update autonomously by strapped down inertial navigation system (SINS) has been modified; iterative method of SINS initial alignment has been developed; MEMS-type accelerometers and gyros calibration methods have been improved; software and experimental prototype of integrated ISNS have been created; UAV integrated navigation system efficiency evaluation method has been developed. Comprehensive experimental validation of ISNS prototype confirms the adequacy of functioning of created methods and algorithms. According to the developed method the UAV integrated navigation system efficiency has been evaluated and compared to the efficiency of foreign SINS. As a result it has been determined that the integral efficiency of proposed ISNS is 2 times higher.
