Object of the study - arterial hypertension with hypertensive nephropathy and metabolic syndrome. Purpose - to improve treatment of hypertensives with hypertensive nephropathy and metabolic syndrome based on studies of markers of subclinical damage of the heart and kidney by the appointment of antihypertensive drugs with atorvastatin and metformin. Examining of 124 hypertensives with metabolic syndrome, it has been detected that current of the disease depends on the type of insulinemia and is more severe in the cause of basal and 2hr postloading hyperinsulinemia and hypertensive nephropathy. It was found that in patients with hypertensive nephropathy and metabolic syndrome the level of markers of subclinical target organ damage increases with the growth of the severity of insulin resistance from reactive to spontaneous hyperinsulinemia. It was found that using of lercanidipine/felodipine in combination with irbesartan, atorvastatin and metformin improves parameters of cardiohaemodynamics, causes effective reduction of insulin resistance, contributes normalization of carbohydrate metabolism, decreases dyslipidemia, reduces the intensity of systemic inflammation, has cardio- and renoprotective influences. The results of the research have been introduced into medical institutions, scientific and educational process. The field is medicine.
