Essay

The dissertation explores peculiarities of the communicative image of the state leader in the structure of political communication. The paper establishes the paradigm of typical communicative roles, strategies and intentions applied by the political leader, surveys means of their verbalising; defines isomorphic lexical and syntactical linguorhetorical features of the communicative image of the state leader; surveys manipulative potential of the abovementioned components.
