Nelyubov O. Spiritual Elite of Ukraine Late 50-ies of XX - Beginning of XXI Century as a Forming Factor of Democratic Values in Society: Social and Cultural Analysis

The research comprehensively examines the major events in the field of spiritual elite of Ukraine of the late 50-ies of XX century - beginning of XXI century and investigate influence of spiritual elite on establishing basic democratic values. On the basis of scientific concepts author analysis the notions "cultural elite" and "democratic values". In the dissertation author also examines the process of forming spiritual elite of Ukraine, investigates how it effect on the development of culture and education in Ukraine, explores major achievements of spiritual elite. Simultaneously in the dissertation author analyzes the main social and economic problems in independent Ukraine and investigates how the spiritual elite try to overcome the current crisis in society. Also author examines the contribution of Ukrainian spiritual elite in formation of the national mentality and significance of church and religious elites in the cultural life of Ukraine.
