Object: the process of formation of students' communicative competence in teachers training college; aim: scientifically prove and experimentally verify the effectiveness of methods of formation of students' communicative competence in teachers training college; methods: terminological, systematic and structural analysis of the scientific literature, the experience of teachers, synthesis, modeling, questioning, pedagogical supervision, experiment and the methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: firstly proved and developed the method of forming the communicative competence of primary school teachers, which uses the communicative potential of didactic games, developed linguodidactic terms of communicative competence of specialists in the field of primary education, leading with the realization of the proposed techniques, improved methods and techniques of communicative competence of students of teacher training colleges in the context of the use of interactive technologies; outlined the possibility of using didactic games in the structure of employment philological cycle; branch  theory and methods of teaching (Ukrainian language)
