It is shown that an active process of firefighter's personality formation is taken place at the first stage of professional development of an expert, the second stage can be defined more stable than the previous one, but only on condition that an expert determines his new professional role and social status, the third stage is a stage of re estimation and the main feature of which is the total professional development of an expert. It is offered a general description of the trends in transformational changes of individual psychological qualities of the expert of a firefighting and rescue department while dealing with his existential problems of professional development
