Essay

It is displayed the necessity of water use improvement, development of decision making methods under risks in relation to the service cost in the course of water diversion from multi-purpose canals. It is proposed two methods of water use: the first one considers the object as a comprehensive whole, within which a unite rate is fixed; the second method takes into account the increase in prices for transportation of water through the canal in conformity with the technological features. It was also investigated possible risks for water suppliers and water users and it was proposed the optional scenario analysis for risk management.
