The thesis covers the important scientific goal of modern obstetrics - lowering the number of gestational complications, maternal and prenatal morbidity with the asymptomatic bacteriuria on the bases of studies of clinical, bacteriological and immune changes and the use of new and effective approaches to the treatment and prevention of this pathology. According to the study of the laboratory results of 182 pregnant women, the frequency of asymptomatic bacteriuria (AB) 11,5 % in the structure of which the evident bacteriuria was 65 %, moderate bacteriuria was 35 %. Monoinfection was prevailing, polymicrobic flora was detected in 22,4 %. The most frequent complications during pregnancy bacteriuria is anaemia, late abortion risk, the risk of premature labor, low and medium preeclampsia, placental dysfunction, which puts a pregnant woman with untreated asymptomatic bacteriuria at great risk pregnancy in women with untreated asymptomatic bacteriuria. If not treated we can see the increase of the morpho-functional immaturity of newborns was observed in, different degree of asphyxia, intrauterine infection of the fetus and inflammatory changes in fetal integument. Clinical - immunological and bacteriological effectiveness of 7 day - course of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid has been proved. The immunological criteria of AB relapse prognosis has been developed according to the level of proinflammatory cytokines in the urine of pregnant women, the effectiveness of suppressive treatment course has been shown. The algorithm of treatment and preventing measures to lower the prenatal pathology cases as well as postnatal in flammatory illnesses has been developed.
