Larina O. International competitiveness of regions in global conditions of development

Dissertation is devoted to research-and-development of theoretical positions of forming and ensuring international competitiveness of the regions in countries in global conditions of economic development and working out scientific-founded mechanism of competitive development of regions in Ukraine. Processes of inner regionalization in terms of intensification of global competition are investigated, the essence of the concept of international competitiveness of the regions is explored. The influence of the key factors on providing of the high competitive status of taxonomic units in national models of economic development is determined. The structure of intellectual capital as a key factor of providing competitiveness of regions in global conditions of development is well-grounded. The essence and mechanisms of realization of the most effective strategies of ensuring regional competitiveness in the mail models of economic development are highlighted. The comprehensive evaluation of intellectual components in the system of competitiveness of regions in Ukraine is put into practice and the ways of ensuring the high competitive status of regions in Ukraine are offered.
