Tetyura S. Evaluation of the functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems in the elderly under the influence of extreme cryotherapy impact

Object - functional condition the cardiovascular system and system of external breathing of an organism of the person. The purpose is evaluation of a functional condition the cardiovascular and breathing systems at elderly persons after general short-term effect of extremely low temperature. Methods - anthropometric, clinical, physiological and statistical. Results - the character of physiological responses the cardiovascular and breathing systems at elderly persons under an operation of extremely low temperature is established, the quantitative evaluation of change of a functional condition of these systems depending on total time of cryotherapy is given. The novelty - for the first time at elderly persons the boundary of total time of cryotherapy effect is revealed, when the highest level of potential risk of critical vascular changes was determined, dynamics of positive cryotherapy effect taking into consideration age and gender factors is shown. The outcomes of research are introduced into educational process on department of physiology of the human and animals of Donetsk national university, in giving a particularized course on physiology of thermal control, in medical practice of "Regional clinical hospital of occupational diseases", in educational process of department of physical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, sports and non-traditional medicine of Donetsk national medical university named by M.
