Essay

The research, made in the thesis, is devoted to the problem of formation in hard of hearing senior pupils legal consciousness. The integral pedagogical support for correctional and educational work on the formation of legal consciousness of such children outside regular hours was made. In the thesis the development state of the problem of legal consciousness formation in the field of psycho-pedagogical theory and practice is characterized. The peculiarities of hard of hearing pupils' legal consciousness formation in the system of extracurricular educational work are disclosed. There are the worked-out indices, criteria and levels of hard of hearing senior pupils' legal consciousness formation. The effective methods of legal education are highlighted, and the peculiarities of their application in work with hard of hearing senior pupils are determined. The results of work on the introduction of elective 'I am in the world of law' into the learning and educational work in a school for hard of hearing children, as well as the integral educational work in the field of law outside regular hours are represented in this thesis. The importance of mutual work of parents, teachers and educators for the advancing of hard of hearing senior pupils' legal consciousness level is also mentioned in the thesis. The results of our research confirm the hypothesis that the level of hard of hearing senior pupils' legal consciousness formation can be considerably advanced by the implementation of integral pedagogical support, which will influence the balanced combination of such components of the legal consciousness as cognitive, emotional and motivational, active and behavioral. In addition, it will promote the process of social education of conscious and active citizens in a law-governed state.
