In the work there were conducted analyses of theoretical genesis of banking systems in condition of world economy liberalization. There were researched evolution of scientific points of view to economic nature and sense of banking systems. Modern structure and functional features of national banking systems have been analysed. Banking mechanism of stimulating investment and innovation model of economic development were formalized. Directions of market transformation banking system of People's Republic of China were researched, institutional and functional bases of banking system of PRC have been analysed. Directions of achieving financial stability of banking system of PRC were formalized. Efficiency of banking system of Сhina was evaluated; priorities of optimization of banking system of PRC were allocated and opportunities to use in Ukraine experience of development of banking system of China were evaluated.
