Essay

The author described the pecularities of the behaviors affected by the emergency situation and developed a coherent model of the origin and development of personal transformation in this category of peopel. It was determined that the pecularities of personal changes in the injured of the tragic event, depend on the content of a traumatic situation and the severity of the resulting psychological distress. The most profound personality change at mental, and at somatic level, and the most severe and sometimes inadequate response to an emergency situation occurs in those who have lost a beloved one during the tragedy, or have been injured or wounded.
