Dissertation is devoted to the study of ethnic music of Cherkasy Zvenyhorodschyna as one of the most significant cultural areas of Ukraine. The author analyzed calendar and family rituals in folk song of Zvenyhorodschyna from the viewpoint of rhythmostruktural and paradigmatical methods. He also considered lyro-epic and lyric genres, which this environment generated, and researched its in the context of issues of cultural semiozys.
