Essay

The thesis is aimed at solving the scientific problem of training primary-school teachers-to-be to use multimedia technologies in Poland. Owing to the analysis of pedagogical scientific literature the key notions of the problem, mainly "multimedia", "media" are specified as well as author's own definition of the term "multimedia technologies" is given. Modern tendencies of training primary-school teachers-to-be in Poland in the context of applying multimedia technologies are pointed out. The peculiarities of methodological system of training primary-school teachers-to-be in Poland to use multimedia technologies are found out. Polish model of training primary-school teachers-to-be to use multimedia technologies is characterized.
