The thesis presents a theoretical generalization, practical recommendations as to improving the effectiveness of professional training in higher educational institutions of Ukraine for experts in economic cybernetics, which is shown in substantiating the importance and necessity of competent analytical direction of economists-cyberneticists' training. We singled and argued the structure, essential sides, criteria of formed analytical competence, we identified key directions of the process of their development while studying at higher educational institutions.
