Lutskyi O. The development of managerial competence of the leading personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the process of their professional training

The thesis is devoted to the research of the problem of development of managerial competence of the leading personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the process of their professional training. In the research the essence of the notion of «managerial competence of the leading personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine» as complex characteristics of readiness of officers of management of border units to professional activity has been determined; the structure of managerial competence and peculiarities of the content integrating professional theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, professional and personal values and qualities have been described. The criteria and indices have been determined; the levels of development of managerial competence of officers-bordergaurds have been defined. The structural and functional model oriented towards implementation into the process of professional training of officers substantiated pedagogical conditions. In the result of research the methodical recommendations for scientific and pedagogical staff with regards to development of managerial competence of officers have been elaborated.
