оbjectives: the process of learning physics at the secondary school level; aims: creation non-standard equipmenеt for physics teaching, development and verifying the experimental methodology for using it at the lessons and beyond; methods: psychological, educational, scientific and methodical literature analysis, looking through textbooks, monographs to determine the problems of using standard and non-standard equipment; determinations the ways for its solution; studying, analysis of the best physics teachers' experience, as well as their publications concerning the topics of the research; observation for student training activities, teachers' and students' testing, monitoring to identify the level of students' knowledge standard, using of mathematical statistics for experimental data processing and qualitative analysis of the research results learning and improving existing physical devices, the formation and development of sustainable cognitive interest in physics, using the methods of math statistics for experimental data processing, research quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results; new results: the methods of using non-standard equipment have been proposed, developed and experimentally tested, the main goal of the methods is cognitive interest developing and increasing the secondary school students' knowledge standard; the structure of non-standard implementation has been worked out and its position in the existent system of physics experiment has been given; the samples of all described structure components have been produced and exploited in teaching process; the definition of "physics toy" has been elaborated; the industrial and self-made toys have been classified; teacing techniques of non-standard summarizing lessons have been developed and thematic physics shows provided beyond lessons have been worked out and demonstrated to the secondary school students; the self-made kits for physics teachers have been methodically described and used at the lessons and beyond.
