The main task of the thesis is the cultural analysis of the aesthetic world outlook and musical-stylistic parameters of interaction of Artemy Vedel's works with the cultural traditions of the 18th century. The obtained results allow us to confirm that the crucial factor in the process of Artemy Vedel's composing talent development was the reliance on the images, plots and style of the Ukrainian musical environment that was related in the world outlook aspect with the long-standing spiritual and artistic experience of the Ukrainian ethnicity. The determining criterion of this relation is the phenomenon of cultural traditions that help to forecast the specific character of the composer's perception of topical tendencies that were typical for the local and Western European professional musical art.
