Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of language development of students of the 1st-2nd grades. The Research has substantiated and experimentally tested the methodology of forming speech skills among students of 1st-2nd grades. The aim of the proposed method is to create a system of game tasks and exercises of different levels of difficulty (receptive, reproductive, productive), which implements a complex approach to the formation of lexical and grammatical skills (partly speech skills), the ability to retell texts in oral way, create their own statements. We've created a lingvodidatic model of forming speech skills for students 1st-2nd grades at Ukrainian lessons by using educational and gaming activities. It was found out the nature, the structure and mechanisms of speech activities of children, the evaluating criteria of lexical and grammatical skills were settled, the ability of oral retelling texts and create their own oral statements, takes according to the program, the contents of modern textbooks, data of verification tests, state of the problem in the practice of teaching Ukrainian language in the 1st-2nd grades. Developed and experimentally checked up contents, methods, techniques and forms of speech development of students in teaching literacy and Ukrainian. It was experimentally proved that the proposed method is effective and will improve speech skills of students 1st-2nd grades.
