Essay

The author first theoretically grounded and tested methods of working with text of an interdisciplinary content in 8-9th grade-depth study of the Ukrainian language. Paper clarifies the concept "text of an interdisciplinary content." It developed and implemented into the learning process the program of an optional course for pupils of grades 8-9 "The linguistic laboratory". The paper presents a set of effective methods, techniques, tools and forms with text in Ukrainian language lessons designed to improve speech skills of high school students, and recommended for teachers, educational institutions to use in the classroom. Formulated statements and conclusions can be used to improve school programs and textbooks, for creation of manuals, in the practice of teaching the Ukrainian language in pre specialized class, for lectures and workshops on methods of teaching the Ukrainian language in higher education and for students during their teaching practice. The prospect of further research: the question of individualization of learning process, the educational demands and needs of the individual, the optimal conditions for successful development and learning of a student and providing training profile selection. The issue should be further study the problem of forming research skills in basic and high school, and during attending of the optional courses.
