The features of the international political regulation in the era of globalization were investigated. Classified and systematized modern theoretical and methodological approaches in the Ukrainian and foreign scientific thought in the implementation of global management practice. The evolution of the peculiarities of the modern international system and the world-system design in the context of globalization and the challenges and prospects for the global management of the international system were analyzed. Investigated the socio-economic dimension of globalization in the context of the problems of asymmetric development.
