Bobrenko R. Formation of culturological competence in prospective specialists in publishing and editing by means of visual art

The thesis is a theoretical and experimental research on cultural competence formation in prospective specialists in publishing and editing by means of visual art. The scientific and pedagogical analysis of problem in theory and practice of professional training of prospective specialists in publishing and editing was carried out. The concepts of " visual art", "means of visual art" were specified. Concepts of "cultural competence of prospective specialists in publishing and editing" and "artistic and aesthetic perception of prospective specialists in publishing and editing" were introduced to the categorical apparatus. The thesis substantiated, elaborated and experimentally verified the effectiveness of the author's method of development of artistic and aesthetic perception of future specialists in publishing and editing in the context of their cultural competence formation by means of visual art that is applied in the special course "Visual tools in editor's work".
