Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to solve the important scientific and technical task - improving the control method of energy losses in contact line. Firstly it's proposed a model of traction power supply load for energy losses control. This allows taking into account the number of trains on railway section during determining the energy losses coefficient in traction power supply system. The author established a distribution law of energy losses coefficient and provided recommendations for its regulations. It's obtained a regression for determining the energy losses for railway sections of determinate and alternating currents that can improve the accuracy of the losses definition. The experimental confirmations of the results have shown that the proposed improved indirect method increases the accuracy of the energy losses definition to 6.9% compared with current methodology.
