Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the decision of actual scientific and technical task of parameters grounding, which determine the intensification coal slime dewatering process. It was found that the filtration velocity increasing when the mechanical shear with high velocity is using to overconsolidated slime sediment. This fact allowed to defining the optimum time moment for shear act. For research of sediment state change during filtration process the numerical computer simulation was realized on the discrete elements method basis. Some important features of sediments are determined in the laboratory conditions such as compression, porosity, filtration coefficient, permeability etc. The scientific value of this work consists of an opening the influence of shear velocity and sediment state on the water removing velocity from porous stricture in filtration process. On the basis of theoretical and experimental results the technology of filtration was developed. This technology is founded on the compression of sediment and change of its pores configuration with shear. The industrial approbation of this technology was carried out. The expected yearly economic result from application of one plant SOP-10 with the sprag equals 160 thousands of UAN. Branch - rozrobka rodovisch korisnih copaline (tehnіchnі Science)
