The thesis is devoted to the scientific justification of the key competences of future professionals in aviation transport systems in the process of professional training regarding the up-to-date requirements and personal needs. The research defines the concept of "key competences of future professionals in aviation transport systems". The criteria were developed, the indicators were identified and the levels of formation for the key competences of the future professionals in the transport systems were characterized. The research defined and justified the organizational and pedagogical conditions; the structural and functional model of forming the key competences of future professionals in of the aviation transport systems in the process of professional training was designed and experimentally approved; the components of the model include objective-forming, contextual and technological, organizational and pedagogical and resultative components. The results of the pedagogical experiment proved the efficiency of the structural and functional model of forming the key competences of future professionals in aviation transport systems industry in the process of mastering the author's course "Integrated transport systems".
