There has been made a complex research of 475 patients suffering concomitant trauma. 232 of them were with concomitant closed abdominal trauma. The control group consisted of 117 patients suffering concomitant closed abdominal trauma (CCAT), who were treated since 2007 till 2009 with a traditional surgical technique that assumes a full scope of surgical procedures without taking into account the severity of trauma. The main group counted 115 injured with CCAT (since 2010 till 2011) where improved treatment and diagnosis tactic with full scope of surgical procedures were applied, depending on the severity of trauma. That allowed to distinguish such groups of patients as with mild n = 52 (45,2 %), hard n = 37 (32,2 %) and extremely hard injuries n = 26 (22,6 %). In the main group of patients with extremely hard injuries minimal scope of surgical treatment was performed n = 48 (41,7 %), while shorter - to the patients with hard trauma n = 46 (40,0 %), and in case of mild injuries - full scope of surgical treatment was performed n = 55 (47,8 %). Applying of suggested and elaborated severity trauma rating scales, diagnostic algorithm, principles and methods of surgical treatment as well as curing techniques of injured with CCAT allowed to decrease frequency of complications from 62,4 % to 54,8 %; general mortality from 35,0 % to 27,8 % in the main group of patients in comparison with the control and in the acute period of traumatic disorder - from 23,0 % to 13,0 %.
