The thesis is dedicated to the research of the content and forms of international legal cooperation in the sphere of combating and punishment for the crimes under international law and qualification of international crimes according to the practice of ad hoc tribunals and the International Criminal Court (ICC). The essence of the concepts of "qualification of crime under international law" and "crime under international law" is determined. The research is done on the genesis and development of concepts and key approaches to crimes under international law. The universal and regional trends of combating crimes under international law are researched.
