The thesis is a research of theoretical and practical aspects issues of formation the Ukrainian commercial banks' strategies on the international market of financial services, the establishment and development of the international banking activity in terms of economic globalization, identifying specific laws of functioning of banking services market of Ukraine as an organic component of the global financial market and outlining the ways of improvement of the domestic banking sector in terms of global competitiveness. The thesis highlights essence, role and main characteristics of the Ukrainian commercial banks' integration into international financial market. The structural changes in international banking during the global financial instability have been systematized, as well as the main tendencies of banking globalization and trans-nationalization have been determined. The economic and mathematic model for strategic management of international activities of Ukrainian commercial banks evaluation has been suggested. Modern theoretical and methodological approaches have been used to analyze the dependencies of total assets of commercial banks of Ukraine on total loans, deposits and foreign capital share in the bank funds as a structural part of the priorities for optimization of Ukrainian commercial banks strategies on the global market of financial services. Practical recommendations in terms of current trends and economic objectives of excelling regulations and laws regarding Ukrainian banks activity on international market of financial services have been grounded.
