Kuzminska B. Demonology of the Ukrainians in Opillia

Object: a traditional folk demonology of Opillia inhabitants. Objective: to provide the most complete demonological pantheon of Opillia inhabitants, reconstruction of its main elements, submit it to comprehensive ethnological characteristics. Methods: field ethnography (including interviews), "remnants", comparative-historical, structural and functional, typological, comprehensive analysis. Results: for the first time in Ukrainian ethnological science carried out a comprehensive study of traditional folk demonology of Opillia, traditional folk demonology of Opillia inhabitants considered in the all-Ukrainian, and partly in the All-Slavonic context, the scientific circulation introduced large amount of ethnographic field research material on the subject, for the first time as a character of Ukrainian demonology clearly positioned goddess. Scope: to write a monographic study of demonology Opillia or chapter in a complex work of traditional folk culture, ethnology, at the conclusion of the courses in the didactic practice middle and high school.
