Kotseruba O. Dante's linguistic ideas and their impact on European linguistics

The Thesis is the first systematic and thorough analysis of the linguistic ideas of the Italian scientist Dante Alighieri in the Ukrainian linguistics. Carried out a systematic analysis of the medieval linguistics, which formed the historical background of the linguistic concept of Dante. A detailed analysis of the linguistic ideas of Dante, and shows the influence of the ideas of linguistic scientist on the subsequent history of the general theoretical linguistics. Found that Dante was an innovator in many linguistic ideas, and his concept had an important influence on the formation of philological and culturological tradition of European linguistics. The study of linguistic theory Dante is suitable for the study of contemporary problems in the history of the national culture. Linguistic concept Dante helps realize the limits of the process of national cultures.
