Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the identification of the basic mechanisms of damage the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in the dynamics of HIV infection and the mechanisms involved in the damage of neuroglia complex hemispheres of the brain. Based on the study of material from the 245 peoples who died with AIDS/HIV, who were in the regional center to combat and prevent AIDS, revealed significant changes in the function of the brain and blood vessels ICR BBB, which were expressed in the increase in the content of endothelin-1 and reducing the activity of NO-synthase (NOx) in the endothelium. The changes revealed spasms of blood vessels and contribute to the development of hypoxia.
