Lobunets G. Medical-psychological adjustment of maladaptive disorder for people with disability who are studying in higher education institutions

In this dissertation based on the detection of individual typological characteristics and the evaluation of life quality of disabled students with maladaptive disorders who are enrolled for higher education, has developed a system of medical and psychological treatment of such conditions. The dissertation is identified maladaptive psychological symptoms and states in students with disability, these symptoms were split by subjective and objective criteria's. Individual-typological characteristics and features of the emotional sphere of students with disabilities that affect the formation of maladaptive disorders been studied during described research. In this dissertation was made an analysis of the quality of life of students with maladaptive conditions. The system of differentiated medical and psychological treatment maladaptive disorders for students with a disability has been developed based on this dissertation using the techniques of emotional support and methods of cognitive behavioural therapy, social adaptation training and preparation for changes in quality of life. The high effectiveness of the proposed system of medical and psychological treatment is proved.
