Lytvynova L. Dissertational research as a source of determination for conditions and tendencies in development of book science, library science, bibliography in Ukraine (1994-2012)

225 dissertational papers (22 doctoral and 203 candidate works) in library science, bibliography, book science as a comprehensive source for determination of conditions, tendencies and research directions in Ukraine, the formation of scientific schools in 1994-2012 are analyzed in the dissertation. Scales, rates, tendencies and formation of quantitative and qualitative scientific staff, publication and confirmation of research results were evaluated by means of bibliometric analyses. Problematic and thematic aspects of dissertations cleared the priorities for investigation in book science, library science, bibliography, as well as the tendency of transformation in content of a speciality inside of informational and communication aspect. Based on a formal definition (e. i. analyses of dissertational investigations) it was determined and investigated scientific and library-informational profile.
