Shumik I. Organizational principles of corporate governance social development of local communities

The object of the research is the management of social development in local government. The aim of the thesis is to develop organizational bases of management of social development in local government through the corporate approach implementation. Scientific novelty of the results is the development of existing and new theoretical and methodological approaches to management of social development in local government on corporate basis. The most important scientific results of the research are: first the basic elements of the conception of Corporate Governance for Social Development (mission of corporate governance and its current strategic objectives, corporate governance principles, policies, functions, tasks and mechanism) were justified, the stages of implementation of this conception were proposed; improved : the existing forms of government of social development of local communities, including the proposed innovative forms of social partnership and organization of social associations activities in local government; the classification of indicators of social development of local communities, which allows to evaluate and compare the expected outcomes of social development with the cost of achieving them, the system of the social and economic characteristics of social processes balance; were further developed: theoretical propositions of advisability for using the corporate approach to management of social development in local government; concepts and categorical apparatus of the subject area of research, namely the "social development of the local community", "corporate social relations", "social sphere of the city as environment of creating conditions for social development of local communities", "social corporatism", "corporate management of social development" in the context of the cooperation between local government, business and public organizations to implement corporate management of social development of local communities in Ukraine , the components of system analysis and trends of social development of local communities, which allow to create information-analytical basis for working out of strategies and plans for social development and to justify the choice of ways of development organizational and administrative management models through the corporate governance implementation.
