Essay

The object of research is psychological readiness of educators of pre-school educational institutions to work with gifted children. The work purpose: theoretically to prove and empirically to investigate components and conditions of development of psychological readiness of educators to work with gifted children. The methods: theoretical - theoretical analysis, ordering of the scientific data, generalization, modeling; empirical – psychodiagnostic methods: questioning, testing, content-analysis etc.; forming experiment; mathematic-statistical methods - correlation, cluster and disperse analysis. The scientific novelty: the author analyzes the basic theories of talent, training, education, and talent development as well as determines the distinctive psychological characteristics of pre-school teachers’ work with gifted children in relation to possible psychological problems faced by gifted child in sensitive, behavioral and cognitive aspects, investigated the levels and factors of its development; the author discusses the content, structure and conditions of pre-school teachers’ psychological readiness for work with gifted children. The practical value of research: the program of development of psychological readiness to work with gifted children, which will promote increase of efficiency of training of educators and practical psychologists of the preschool education system, increase of their qualification in system of postgraduate pedagogical education, is developed and approved. Efficiency of the introduction – high. The sphere of the use: preschool educational institutions, higher educational institutions.
