Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of training of future foreign language teachers of elementary school by the use of learning situations. The state of a problem is analyzed in pedagogical theory and practice. Professional competence's model of future foreign language teacher of primary school by means of learning situations is theoretically substantiated. The result of previously mentioned model is formed professional competence. It is implemented the classification of learning situations that are typical for the teaching practice of mentioned speciality. It is determined criteria and levels of formed professional competence. The effectiveness of author's technology is experimentally confirmed. It is proved that the formation of future foreign language teacher's professional competence can be effective at primary school according to the conditions: creation developmental environment; ensuring situational direction to the content of professionally oriented disciplines; systematic use of educational diagnostics in learning process; introduction of the author's special course "Situational orientation of the foreign language learning process at primary school" and situational tasks to the program content of pedagogical practices.
