The thesis is devoted to the study of psychological peculiarities the development of professional and legal consciousness of cadets in higher educational establishments of MIA of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature the main conceptual approaches to understanding the concept of "legal consciousness" were investigated, the definition of "professional and legal consciousness", its structural classification and manifestations of occupational legal consciousness of cadets were identified. In the thesis discusses the possibility of psychological support to developing the foundations of professional and legal conscience of cadets.
